Lion’s Mane Cat Hat
You already know that your cat is the king/queen of your home — he/she knows it too. What better way for him/her to impress the other neighborhood cats than to offer a headpiece that is fit for ruling the jungle. (Fun fact: “King of the Jungle” is a misnomer for lions; they actually live in the African veld.) This lion mane hat fits on the head of an average-sized house cat, and attaches with velcro.
The outside of the lion’s mane is handmade with synthetic fur, while the liner inside of the mane is made of soft cotton. It’s safe for your pet and can be easily cleaned with some soap and water.
Note 1 (May 22, 2013): Because of the popularity of the lion mane hat, the creator is often sold out but updates their store every Sunday with new inventory. If you really need it in a hurry, you can make a rush order for an additional cost. Please check the note in the store for additional details. Also, since this post was first made, the seller has raised the price slightly to balance the high demand.
Note 2 (June 7, 2013): So it’s come to my attention that the creator of this has now jacked the price up to $50 (and up). Started out as $35, then $38, now $50. Hey, Economics 101, supply and demand, yaddy yaddy yadda, first world capitalism. Deal with it. It’s not a cat mane hat, but as a consolation and cheaper alternative, we’re talking $6: a slice of bread cat hat.
